Lebanon Middle School Safe Room

The Community Safe Room at LMS, 2700 Buzz Pride Drive, is ready for use during tornado and dangerous high wind events. 

  • The Community Safe Room is owned by Lebanon R-III Schools, and its first function is to provide protection for Lebanon Middle School students and staff during tornado and extreme high wind events during school hours. 
  • The Safe Room will also be available to residents who do not have safe locations to take shelter on the weekends and on school days after 6pm

Notification of Safe Room Opening:

  • Lebanon Middle School serves as a designated safety room when 
    • Tornado Warnings are issued
    • When the Office of Emergency Management deems it necessary to open this space.

How to Access the Safe Room: 

  • Signage directing you to the safe room entrance will be provided.
  • Please access the building in the newly constructed location at 2700 Buzz Pride Drive 

**Exercise caution in the case of inclement weather when traveling to the location. Please note that during school hours, the safe room is reserved for students for their safety and capacity considerations, and is not accessible to the public.
